Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Funtime Inflatables you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These apply to any order placed online through the website or via email, via telephone, via text message or other means deemed acceptable by us, It is the responsibility of you the customer to ensure you have discovered, acknowledged, accepted and adhered to all aspects of the terms and conditions.

GENERAL:

1. All assets including any accessories must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. It is your responsibility to ensure no damage whatsoever occurs to any of the equipment, if damage occurs then you will be liable for the full repair charge including any associated costs or the cost of replacing the entire unit.

2. We accept no responsibility for damage to yours or others property during installation, duration of the hire and collection of the equipment.

3. We accept no responsibility for injuries occurred during the duration of your hire, you must ensure persons using the equipment are doing so competently, safely and under supervision.

4. You must ensure that no overcrowding takes place on any of the equipment.

5. You must ensure that no food or drink is taken onto the equipment, we reserve the right to charge an extra £50.00 per asset if we find food or drink has been taken onto the equipment.

6. All equipment we deliver is your responsibility until we collect it, you are liable for any damage or losses incurred whilst under your possession. In no way, shape or form shall any equipment we deliver to you be modified by you or your associates, this applies to any item that we leave in your possession.

7. Under no circumstances shall silly string, streamers or party poppers be used on or near the equipment, these are almost impossible to remove and will result in you being liable for the full cost of replacing the entire unit.

8. Under no circumstances, shall sand be taken on or used near the equipment, sand destroys inflatables and you will be liable for the full cost of replacing the entire unit. We reserve the right to cancel without refund any hires where we find sand at the location upon delivering the equipment.

9. All footwear shall be removed before using the equipment.

10. It is your responsibility not to release any equipment to anyone other than representatives of Funtime Inflatables, if in any doubt please contact us.

11. No smoking on or near the equipment.

12. Any offers including multi day hires are not available in any bank holiday periods or at Christmas/New Year.

13. It is your responsibility to check the equipment delivered for any damage, any damage that has not been indicated at the time of delivery will be deemed to have taken place during the hire and subsequently you will be responsible for any relevant charges.

14. You must return the equipment in a clean condition, failure to do this will result in a further charge of £50.00 being issued.

15. Under no circumstances must the equipment be used for any purpose other than the one intended, never allow people to climb over or bounce on parts of the inflatable not designed for such practice, including but not limited to the walls, roof, step and blower tube.

16. You agree only to use the equipment in suitable conditions and understand that no inflatable equipment including play equipment and inflatable structures such as the pub and tiki bar are waterproof and may subsequently become unusable in heavy rain. No inflatable equipment must be used in winds exceeding 24mph and blowers shall be switched off in this scenario.

17. Under no circumstances should the vent to the blower be covered for any reason.

18. All participants shall remove any jewellery or other sharp objects before using the equipment.

19. At no time shall people with certain medical conditions use the equipment, these include but are not limited to, back and neck problems, heart conditions and those with injuries which could be worsened through use of the equipment.

20. No persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be allowed to use the equipment.

21. Under no circumstances shall we accept abuse to any staff of Funtime Inflatables, abuse will not be tolerated and will result in your booking being cancelled with no refund and you being blacklisted from future bookings.

DELIVERY:

1. Our standard delivery times are between 7:30am and 12:00pm, your equipment will be delivered between these times if you select the standard delivery option. Inflatable pubs, nightclubs, bars and hot tubs will be delivered between 12pm and 6pm unless otherwise agreed with management. You can pay extra to guarantee a specific delivery time but this is subject to availability and our decision on this is final.

2. If we arrive to deliver and you are not there to accept delivery, the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled and the necessary charge applied. We cannot wait longer than we have planned at bookings due to the demanding schedule we have on delivery.

3. If we arrive and the product you have chosen either will not fit or is not suitable for the location you have specified then we will either cancel the booking and the necessary charge will apply or we will replace your product with a more suitable one but a minimum £25 charge plus delivery will apply in this scenario.

4. Whilst we always try our utmost to deliver our products on time we do reserve the right to be up to one hour outside of our standard times due to forces outside our control such as traffic, no discount or refund will be given in this case.

5. We cannot be held liable for any charges you the customer may have incurred due to us either not being able to deliver or being late delivering due to forces out of our control.

6. It is your responsibility to ensure the venue address and contact number are accurate, if incorrect we reserve the right to cancel the booking and charge the relevant amount.

COLLECTION:

1. Our standard collection times are between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, your equipment will be collected between these times, the exact time will depend on the most economic route. You can pay extra to keep the equipment later but this must be agreed and paid for before our collection team arrive at your address.

2. We reserve the right to obtain access to your property in order to collect our equipment.

3. On occasions we may need to leave the equipment longer than our standard times due to forces out of our control.

4. We cannot be liable for any charges incurred by you for us being later than agreed collecting our equipment.

5. Items must be ready for collection in the same location as they were delivered, if our team have to collect items in other locations, then a standard £25 charge will apply, for instance if soft play balls are not contained within the ball pool.

6. If on arrival we are either refused access to our equipment or are unable to gain access then you will be charged the daily hire rate until we can collect our products.

PAYMENT:

1. All payments are to be made by way of cash on delivery, BACS or cheque. BACS and cheque payments must be cleared at least two working days before your event date.

2. All invoices to be paid in full, not more than seven days after date of invoice. Any invoice exceeding this period will be re invoiced and will be subject to a surcharge of 25% of the total invoice value. Invoices outstanding after fourteen days will have a daily flat rate charge of £10.00 added at 08:00 each day until the balance including any charges have been paid in full.

3. Any discounts offered will be forfeited should any invoice not be paid within the seven day period, a revised invoice will be sent and immediate payment will be required. This revised invoice will also carry a standard 25% surcharge.

4. Under no circumstances will credit of any kind be allowed.

REFUNDS:

1. Once the inflatable has been delivered and inflated, the hire is deemed to have been completed and no refunds will be given.

2. Should payment have been made prior to your event and on the day the conditions are not suitable for the hire to go ahead, we will refund your payment in full via the method you paid. Our decision as to the suitability of the conditions is final.

3. All our equipment is tested before delivery, should a malfunction occur and we can confirm that our equipment was at fault, we will offer a pro rata refund. This will only occur after we have inspected our equipment and satisfied ourselves that our equipment was faulty. NO REFUNDS will be offered should it be found that interference was the cause of the malfunction.

CANCELLATIONS:

1. You agree that by booking online, by email or on the phone you are entering into a contract whereby you agree to pay the given hire charges and other charges in return for the equipment you have chosen. However we understand that cancellations need to happen sometimes. For the purposes of cancellations, all hire times are deemed to be 08:00 on your chosen date.

2. All cancellations must be made by way of phone or email. Voicemail messages and text messages are not accepted. Only when we have replied to your correspondence is the cancellation deemed to be active. It is your responsibility to ensure we are notified and have responded to your request. Please note that we aim to respond to all emails within 48 hours, please take this into account when choosing a communication method to cancel.

3. We allow cancellation up to 28 days from your chosen hire date free of charge.

4. Cancellations made between 28 and 14 days from your hire date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges.

5. Cancellations made up to 14 days from your hire date will be subject to a 75% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges.

6. Any cancellations made up to 7 days on your specified hire date or upon our arrival to your chosen hire location will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges.

7. Any cancellations made due to the chosen hire area being either unsuitable, unsafe or too small than the required minimum will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges. It is your responsibility to ensure the area being used is suitable and the equipment you have chosen fits safely in that location, if under any doubt please contact us no less than seven days before your chosen event date.

8. Any cancellations made due to a lack of suitable power will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges.

9. Any cancellations made due to weather will be charged the relevant fees depending on the timing of the cancellation. We will only accept the cancel of a hire if the winds at your location are either exceeding 24mph or are forecast to during the duration of your hire. Our decision on the suitability of the weather is final.

10. Cancellations due to ordering incorrect or unsuitable equipment will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee of all your chosen assets and services, including any extra delivery or miscellaneous charges. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have ordered the correct assets and any necessary extras, all details can be found in the confirmation email we send, if in any doubt please call the office not less than seven days before your chosen event date.

11. All cancellation charges will be subject to the same terms as any regular invoice and must be paid within seven days to avoid any late payment penalties.
